Test for resistance to heat and fire based on IEC 62368-1:2014

The new IEC 62368-1: 2014 edition has been issued, in terms of clause Annex S, needle flame burner test is performed for fire enclosure and fire barrier materials of equipment where the steady-state power does not exceed 4000W as below：

Fire enclosure and fire barrier materials are tested according to IEC 60695-11-5:2004.

The following additional requirements apply to the specified clauses of IEC 60695-11-5:2004.

For fire enclosures and fire barriers , each test specimen consists f either a complete fire enclosure or fire barrier or a section of the fire enclosure or fire barrier representing the thinnest significant wall thickness and including any ventilation opening
