The fire hazard testing for base material for printed circuit
According to IEC 60249,for single electronic component , in order to evaluate the extent of burning and the velocity of flame propagation ,i.e. The linear burning rate ( as Horizontal flame testing ) or the extent of burning after removal of the test flame (as vertical flame testing) , compliance is checked by Horizontal Vertical flame tester.
Evaluation of test result:
2.Totol flaming combustion time for the 10 flame application for each set of live specimens.
3.Glowing combustion time after the second removal of the test flame.
4. Flaming or growing combustion up to the holding clamp.
5. Dripping flaming particles that ignite the tissue paper.
Material should be classified V0 and HF1, with 50W nominal test flame
