The Needle Flame Test For Miscellaneous Lampholders

Based on the IEC 60838-1 clause 16.4, parts of insulating material retaining live parts or ELV lamp contacts in position, are subjected to the needle flame burner test in accordance with IEC 60695-11-5 as below :

– The test flame is applied to the centre of the surface to be tested.

– The duration of application is 10 s.

– Any self-sustaining flame shall extinguish within 30 s of removal of the gas flame and any flaming drops shall not ignite a piece of five-layer tissue paper, specified in definition 4.187 of ISO 4046-4 spread out horizontally 200 mm ± 5 mm below the test specimen.

The Needle Flame Burner ZLT-ZY2 manufactured by Zhilitong Electromechanical Co., Ltd, meets with requirements of above IEC 60838-1 and IEC 60695-11-5 standard, 10pcs tissue papers are provided along with equipment.
