The Tracking Test for plug and socket-outlet for household and similar purpose as per VDE standard
According to VDE 0620 caluse 28.2, parts of insulating material retaining live parts in position , which IP code is higher than IPX0, is shall be of material resistant to tracking test.
The test is carried out according to IEC 60112.
The material under test shall pass at a proof tracking index of 175 V using the test solution A
with an interval between drops of 30 s ± 5 s.
