Pull Test for Plug ,Socket Outlet ,connectors of Electric Vehicles Provided with Flexible Cable
According to IEC 62196-1 clause 25.3, Non-rewireable plugs and vehicle connector accessories shall be provided with suitable flexible cable appropriate for the rating of the accessory.
Rewireable plugs and vehicle connectors shall be provided with a strain relief means designed to prevent the twisting of the cable may occur.
Plug and vehicle connectors provide with a flexible cable are subjected to a pull test in apparatus similar to that shown in figure as follow:
