Glow wire test for hand held motor operated electric tools
According to IEC 60745 clause 29, parts of non metallic material shall be adequately resistant to ignition and to spread of fire.
Compliance is checked by subjecting parts of non-metallic material to the glow wire tester of IEC 60695-2-11, which is carried out at 550°C.
