Mechanical Strength test for connecting devices for low-voltage circuits for household and similar purposes
In compliance with IEC 60998 clause 14, connecting devices shall have adequate mechanical strength. Protective enclosures, in particular, shall withstand the stresses imposed during installation and use.
For connecting devices having a mass equal to or greater than 50 g, are subjected to blows by means of the pendulum hammer according to IEC 60068-2-75.
