For test of resistance to mechanical shock impacts induced by sharp-edged objects,conform to IEC 61439.5:2023 figure 108, and clause 10.2.101.8.
This striker element,having a steel striker element with mass of 5kg and having the end profiled as shown in IEC 61439.5 figure 108,shall be raised through a height of 0,4m and allowed to drop and impact the surface of the ASSEMBLY under test,thus providing an impact energy of 20J.
